Composer for film, television and games
Felix Lindsell-Hales is a UK-based composer for film, television and games, represented by DNA Music. His work spans cinematic score, intimate songwriting, orchestral textures and contemporary production, with credits across Netflix, Amazon Prime, Channel 4, Apple TV, BBC Wales and Jaguar Land Rover.
His music moves between intimate acoustic textures, dark cinematic writing, hybrid orchestral soundworlds and song-led material. Felix studied composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, developing a grounding in orchestration, score preparation and writing for live players.
Alongside his screen work, Felix is the frontman, writer and guitarist of Year of the Dog, who appear as the Swing Band throughout Netflix’s Sex Education. He has also worked closely with performers and composers across screen projects, including coaching Adrienne Warren for Disney/Hulu’s Black Cake and recent session work for Isobel Waller-Bridge.
